Breast Cancer Support

Breast Buddies Meet every month on the second Friday at 9.30 am ot offer support and share experiences. Phone Kim for further information on 4979 1780


Be Pampered!


For anyone who has been through or going through any cancer treatment. Enjoy a fun morning including facials, makeovers and luxury treatments. Every second Tuesday of the month at 9.30 am. Bring a plate to share with the group. Phone Marie on 4972 7776 or 4979 1456.


FREE AEROBICS!

Monday to Friday from 8.30 am till 9 am join the ladies in airconditioned comfort with low inpact walk aerobics. Bring a towel if you like.

Monday Relaxation Sessions - 9 am till 9.20 am.

Weekly sessions will provide opportunities for women to learn and grow together and to address issues that are common to women as a whole.

The program is conducted on a Wednesday over 6 weeks from 9.30 am to 12 mid day

Post Natal Disorder Support Group

Have you experienced persistent feelings of despair whilst pregnant or within a year of the birth of a baby? Post-Natal Disorders (PND) affects up to 20% of women and families.

What to expect at the PND support group….

Friendly and non-judgmental cuppa morning,

Support and understanding from other mums,

Talk about how your are feeling,

Swap coping ideas, Meet new people in similar situations,

Occasional guest speakers and information, Child-friendly facilities.

Parents Group for young parents with children 12 months and over

Parents whose children are in care

meet Fridays fortnightly from 10 am to 12md


Puberty Clues

A workshop for mothers and their daughters. This is a 2 1/2 hour workshop that provides mother and their daughters, 8 to 12 years old, with accurate and up to date information about the changes that occur during puberty and information about menstruation. Phone the centre for bookings. Next sessions will be held at Boyne Tannum on 15th September and at Gladstone on the 20th October.

Free Health Assessments

Blood pressure and blood glucose level monitering available. Drop in or make an appointment.

Pregnancy Test Kits available

Pregnancy tests are available for $3 and counsellors trained in unplanned pregnancy are available.
