Breastfeeding Association

Next meeting is on Thursday 10th May 10 am to 12 noon. And then on Wednesday the 23rd May 1 pm to 2.30pm.

Support and information on breastfeeding and parenting.

Young Parents Program



Monday group is for parents with children 12 months and over. This group meet fornightly from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm.

Thursday group caters for pregnant women and young parents with babies up to 12 months. This group meet every Thursday from 10am to 12 midday.

Friday group is for parents whose children are in the Child Protection System. This group meet fortnightly from 10 am to 12 midday.

Free transport is available. Please ring the Centre, as only staff can make bookings for this service.

Post Natal Disorder Support Group

The PND Support Group provides an environment where Mums can come along and be supported by other Mum's who understand how they are feeling. The group is held fortnightly on a Monday morning from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm.

No apointment is necessary, just come along. Free transport is available. Please ring the Centre as only staff can make bookings for this service.

Volunteer facilitators are required to provide an ongoing commitment to the PND support group. Training and ongoing support will be provided. Please call Tania 4979 1456.

Family Nutrition Program


Finding it hard to feed your family?

With a little forward planning, creative ideas and some up to date knowledge you can achieve optimum health for the whole family.

Course Co-ordinator: Kate Wilson

Parents, especially those with children aged 0-5 can come along and learn about:

Nutrition food options for the whole family;
Budgeting skills for your weekly shop;
Preparing easy, convenient and nutritious meals;
Getting the whole family physically active without breaking the budget;
How to cope with fussy eaters and other childhood health issues.

Group Dates and times.

6 consecutive group sessions Fridays from 10 am till midday. Commencing Term 3 July 2007. Phone the centre to register your interest.

Journey Through Grief and Loss

New workshop starting June 5th or June 12th at the Women's Health Centre.

Bookings are essential and a brief interview will be arranged to determine which workshop meets your needs.

Preterm Infant's Parents Association Inc

PIPA - watching premature babies grow. Meet at the centre monthly. Bring your own lunch.

Are you experiencing difficulty getting pregnant? Come and get some information about fertility with Natural Fertility educators. You can use this information to maximise your chance of having a baby. Gold coin donation. Everybody is welcome and individual consultations can be arranged if necessary.

Celebrating Life: Beyond Survival of Sexual Abuse

Sexual Assault affects many people.

Celebrating Life: Beyond Survival of Sexual Abuse is a group program run for women who have experienced sexual abuse, either recently or at some time in the past.

All information is kept strictly confidential and you can give as little or as much information as your feel comfortable with this group.

The program runs over 8 weeks and focuses on issues that may arise from sexual abuse.

You do not have to be alone.

Stress Management Program

Be Pampered!

For anyone who has been through or going through any cancer treatment. Fun mornings with facials, makeup, hand and foot massage etc. Second Tuesday of each month at 9.30 am. Just bring a plate to share.
